![]() ![]() So the Jedi recruit a number of astromech droids to serve as secret agents, including R2-D2! Now, you might think he would be our main character for this episode, right? Wouldn’t you think that? After all, he’s a character from the film, so he’d be our main character for this episode, right? So they need to send someone to get a secret decoding chip from behind enemy lines (lots of set-up for this episode). This episode opens with the moral: “Humility is the only line of defense against humiliation.” Then we learn that the Jedi intercepted a coded transmission, but they can’t crack the code. This week, we’re watching "Secret Weapons," written by Brent Friedman and directed by Danny Keller. Since it’s not a show I’m terribly familiar with, I’m going to watch and review every episode. And that renaissance arguably began with Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which filled in the gaps between the prequel and told new stories with the same beloved characters. New films are scheduled for release every Christmas, a new line of novels and comics expands the world, and Star Wars: Rebels continues to gain acclaim. We are entering a new golden age for Star Wars fans. ![]()
